Becoming a foster carer for babies can be incredibly rewarding. Caring for a baby means supporting them through one of the most crucial and vulnerable stages of their life. You’ll be there for all the special moments, like their first smiles, first words, and first steps. The care you provide at this early stage has a lasting, positive impact on their future.

As a baby foster carer, you’ll create a nurturing and secure home environment, helping the little ones form essential emotional connections and trust. You’ll work alongside health professionals, social workers, and birth families, making sure the baby receives all the care and support they need. While looking after a baby can be challenging at times, seeing them thrive and develop under your care is deeply fulfilling.

At Greater London Fostering, you’ll receive dedicated training and ongoing support designed specifically for caring for babies. Whether you have experience with infants or you’re new to fostering, our friendly and experienced team will guide you every step of the way.
