No one fosters for the money, trust us, there are far easier ways to make money – but no one can foster without money – so it’s really important you understand exactly how it works before starting your fostering journey.
Did you know that you might be paid very different amounts, depending on who you foster for? We’ve heard of there being upto £200 a week difference!!!
As a foster carer, you will receive an amount of money for each week you foster.
This money should both meet the costs of caring for a child, and also reward you for your hard work.
If you foster for us, you will receive the following amounts each week, for each child you foster:
0-10 years old, £425
11+ years old, £450
You probably have a lot of questions about fostering.
