Do I get breaks or holidays?
As a foster carer we want you to have a break when you need it. Fostering is very demanding and challenging at times. There may be times when you need a break.
If and when you need a break, we will make sure that the children in your foster care care placed with another foster family.
Stability of placements are very important in making sure the placements have the best chance of success.
Bearing this in mind, we have to think about the best interests of the children who are placed with you, which will determine when a break is possible.
